Zelkor's Ferry Video

Many expeditions to Rappan Athuk begin at Zelkor's Ferry. Frog God Games' Matt Finch has created a "crazed adventurer's" eye view and walk-thru using terrain on his YouTube Channel.

Hint: the only person talking is the wizard Argyle, and yes, he's muttering and suffering flashbacks.

Yes this is the same Zelkor's Ferry which will be expanded upon by Alex Kammer thanks to the unlocked $70,000 stretch goal. You can see more of Matt's RPG videos here.

Thanks to graphics wizard Jim Wampler the poster was improved and here is the newest version!

International Shipping Update

If you are a backer for the Tome of Horrors Kickstarter AND are getting or considering a physical book for Rappan Athuk his applies to you...

After much deliberation Bill, Krista and I have come up with a workable solution to get your Tome of Horrors pledge rewards and the Rappan Athuk rewards in the same shipment. This involves some verification work on our end BUT only if you choose the "ship them together" option that will be presented to you during Backerkit. We do not know for certain what the shipping will be yet but using this method we will be able to charge you the actual shipping on one package (as opposed to two). This will be a significant savings BUT it will happen as a refund at the time of shipment. There is no way for us to apply the discount early.

So if you were on the fence about getting a physical book and you were a Tome of Horrors backer we have you covered. This will be explained in much more detail before the Backerkit launches in a few weeks.

A handsome 2 panel color poster folded for proper placement inside your books. All backers receiving a physical book in their pledge get the Poster free. Oh, yeah a free high resolution PDF of the same is available for FREE to all backers of $5 or more.

1800 Backer Stretch Goal

If we reach 1800 backers by the time the project ends anyone getting a Leather Book with their pledge will be receiving a large folded poster of the level connections of Rappan Athuk (the very same that I am putting the finishing touches on in Photoshop now). The size is not yet determined but will likely be a 4 panel folded poster. Again this is free to all Leather book pledges and a $10 add-on for everyone else.

Hey All!!

We are into the home stretch on this, thanks to all of you, very successful project.

Project Status

The main book is in layout and will be undergoing review and reference checks this weekend. Chuck will then be laying out the appendices and resubmitting for final review and transmission to Regent this month.

Stretch Goals Reached and Coming Up!

We re-ordered a couple of them to make it even sweeter for everyone!

UNLOCKED $110,000 Softcover add-on option for Color Art Book $20  

UNLOCKED $120,000 The second ever Rappan Athuk title, the Middle Levels, for D20 becomes a free stretch goal PDF for all pledges above $5.  

UNLOCKED $130,000 Bill Webb will personally sign and number every leather bound copy of Rappan Athuk for Fifth Edition. So if you were on the fence about a collector's book here is your excuse!

$140,000 The third ever Rappan Athuk title, the Lower Levels, for D20 becomes a free stretch goal PDF for all pledges above $5.  

$150,000 Mystery 3-D print file stretch goal.

1600 Backer Stretch Goal

If we reach 1600 Backers we will make a softcover copy of the creature appendix from the main book for use as a quick reference guide. Since this is from the main book it is Fifth Edition only. Higher pledge levels (any level that includes a Leather Collector's Edition of Rappan Athuk) get that softcover for free. $13 in Backerkit for pledges below $340.

1003 Backer reward revealed.

Greetings all!

Things keep moving very fast and sorry for the delayed updates. GaryCon has been great so far and has just git started. A quick announcement of the reward that will celebrate 1003 backers (which beats the (2012) Rappan Athuk total backer number. We are going to create a special free PDF character sheet to solve any issues that arise from character deaths in the Dungeon of Graves. Specially designed for Rappan Athuk and made available for all 3 systems these Rappan Athuk Registers will allow you to quickly reroll replacements. As an adders bonus, they simultaneously act as a handy death certificate for your campaign journals.

What is more is at 1500 backers we will make a printed pad add-on option in Backerkit. A pad of characters so you won't ever be without.

We are almost all at GaryCon, so if you are here come by the booth and say hi. Or even better, come by the Rappan Athuk 3D printed dungeon outside the Northshore Ballroom.
